| So, Parker just pulled me over to our stereo and ipod. I said, "what do you wanna listen to?". As plain as anything, she replied, "KoRn!". Should I be worried? |

| I just had to navigate to my blog through Xanga asking me to put an advertisement on my page by offering me these bull**** xanga points... I'm losing faith in Xanga, fast... Does anyone ever use it anymore? Does anyone ever see my blogs? Or am I just THAT boring? |

| ABC now has a show called, "Homeland Security U.S.A.", the story of the American Border Patrol.
Finally! A wholesome good-natured, PATRIOTIC television show!
Finally! A television show true to the American spirit!
Finally! A show about shooting a bunch of Mexicans! (sarcasm attached, by the way)
well... good luck with your patriotic mission, ABC
they had to do something after LOST got absolutely ridiculous... |

| man... xanga has gotten pretty pathetic... all that's left are these crappy blogs... one "religious" one and seventeen dating ones...
I haven't seen one intelligent sentence on this website in a long time... but I guess I'm expecting too much. It is, after all, the internet... the one stop shop for gossip and porn... |

| you know... I don't really know if I subscribe to the 'idea' of intellectual property... I guess I have to believe it exists, or at least has been labeled as existing, but... even THAT idea in itself is a fine example of circular reasoning... I mean, who was the first guy that claimed that ideas should be owned? And then who was the first guy that made a dollar for his patented idea? You KNOW the second guy wasn't the first one to think up that idea, but HE now owns it forever as his, to profit from eternally (or ~100 years in the music business). To me, the guy that first put intellectual property into legal practice is a bastard. I could dream up and write down my ideas forever and never feel that I was the original creator of that thought... why should I dare to claim ownership to it? How can I feel right selling my music, you say? (i'll let you know) Well, I only claim to take things that already exist and put them together, in a piece of 'original' art. This is especially true in music. A child, who plays an instrument, or makes up a song, is doing so with the most 'original' mindset of his long lifetime. But even HE would have no idea what to put together if he had not already heard bits and pieces of what to use. I guess ADAM was probably the first and only, truly original musician, if he was a singer or knocked on different sized forbidden fruits or something...or did God put the music inside him?
